It all started in 2006.
One letter. One word. One sentence. One story. One message. One blog triggered the creation of thousands of blogs—and to top it off, a fanbase slowly appeared.
At that time, Sister Julie was the creative wizard behind the keyboard, trying to express to the online world what a nun’s life was actually like. The interest of the online community grew and so did the topics that Sister Julie and Sister Maxine wrote about.
In celebrating the 15th Anniversary of this ministry, we thought it would be fun to create a list of the top 15 blogs defined as our “fan favorites”! In fact, we clearly have a #1 fan favorite! It’s not the first blog written but has stood the test of time. Back in 2012 Sister Julie and Sister Maxine realized that there was very little written on the topic of becoming a nun that could be found online, yet they saw the need to provide such content to the developing fan base. So, they wrote the blog titled: How to Become a Catholic Nun, and over the years this blog has had over 1 million views!
